"Provide great service to our customers."

Terri recognized early on how important service would become to equipment dealership business models, and guided Meridian in making service the priority in the organization, not just moving "boxes".

 Laura Smith, Chief Financial Officer

laurasmithcfo.jpgAs CFO, Laura Smith is responsible for the financial health of Meridian, and has been with the company since 1992. Industry changes almost ten years ago required major adjustments.  While revenues and contract awards were growing, the associated costs with growth resulted in shrinking profits. After diligent research and analysis, Laura selected and implemented a business model to solve this problem that included a series of benchmarks and metrics best suited for our industry and goals. Meridian's revenue from 2003 to 2006 grew 44.9 percent.

Laura was recognized in 2007 by SmartCEO magazine as being one of the top CFOs in the metro area.
